Daughter of the Sun

“Daughter of the Sun” is a digital painting meant to empower black women and emphasize the importance of the Black Lives Matter movement. The woman in the artwork is looking towards the sun representing a bright future full of opportunities and highlighting the value of her future. This project is in association with MakeShift, a non-profit organization started by myself and eight other Toronto based designers who want to take action against the injustices and hardships in our world.
